Plato's Closet: New Pre-Fall Threads

Hello! Today was a busy day for me but all in all pretty good. I chose to show off my girlier side and wear eyeshadow, blush and lipstick.( No Foundation :D) Tonight, the sun set just a little earlier and the evening is starting to feel a little bit cooler. (Despite the fact that today was hot as blazes!) Any woot, today I bring to you a different side of my style.

Fall is a romantic season to me. I have always loved its magical touch. The cool autumn breezes and brisk nights call for delicate layers. But it is still too hot in Texas for layers so I settle for layered light materials. I stopped in Plato's Closet last night and picked up a few new fall threads which I shared on Instagram. Here is my first fall newbie. This piece is very dainty and sweet. It has tulle at the bottom of the lining that peeks out under the skirt half. I pretty much melted when I tried it on. This neutral color can be worn all year round and is versatile. You can pair it with tights, ankle boots and a thick knit cardigan or a sweet baby doll swing coat, tights, mary jane pumps and a chunky scarf to keep you warm later in the fall season. Or like in this post wear it in the cooler parts of spring/summer with wedges or a peeptoe flat. I am truly in love with this dress and cannot wait to remix it later on in the fall. School is in Session!

Hello all! I started back to classes yesterday and I already have homework. So instead of procrastinating I am actually going to do it. Massive Vintage Haul Overload & Purchases from Chicago

Sorry for the delay! Alas! Here are all my items purchased in the past week. This first batch of photos are all of my purchases in from before and while I was on vacation. But its gets even better! *Drum roll*

Tada! All new wonderful and insanely vintage items! I went out with my Boyfriend's mother and sister and we found a ton of things while thifting. Not to mention this last Friday I went back and found those lovely lavender loafers, the bamboo printed blouse, Betsey Johnson inspired dress, and loads more. I am finally content with my clothing collection(for myself that is) and now I can focus on my items for sale! Speaking of items for sale I will be posting more shoes and dresses for sale on my Ebay. So look out for that.
This afternoon was lovely and my darling was kind enough to cook me dinner again! This time from scratch and with a recipe book. I am soo proud of him. He's been cooking and cleaning and doing laundry and not leaving things on the floor or around. I don't know what's gotten into him but I LIKE IT! And of course I love him. So in closing I had a bad ass week/weekend and will be back to the daily grind this week. Until we meet again!
