Hello! Today is my second week of Style Remix Wednesday. This outfit was chosen because I have worn this dress a bunch of times and did not know what to do with it. Truly it is more so one of my fall pieces because it is easier to layer in the cooler months. But since I am wearing my end of summer and pre-fall items I figured why not do a fall preview. They last time I wore this I wore opaque green tights with brown lace up boots, cardigan, a scarf and a knitted hat. This time around I chose to pair it with a sequined blouse worn beneath the dress with T-strap Mary Jane pumps for a more vintage feel. I feel that when wearing a classic vintage inspired ensemble, less is more. When accessorizing go for the bare minimum. Some rings and things, a small necklace or a head scarf(which I chose not to wear because I wanted to show off my faux beehive). Here are details from the rest of my outfit.
I also was lucky enough to plan out my day to capture the best lighting during the magic hour. To be honest my photo shoots with Dan are getting better and better every time we go out to shoot. I am so glad he is learning so quickly. As I am learning so many new things about the wonders of photoshop filters and text within frame. I feel like my work is becoming more professional and for that I am proud of my progress thus far. I can wait to dive in this semester with Illustrator and such. Hello all! I started back to classes yesterday and I already have homework. So instead of procrastinating I am actually going to do it. Hello! These are pictures from my second Sunday Friend Day with Ashlee Elle.
We had a fun filled day despite the rain. Boy was it humid! We took a million and five thousand pictures together and hung out afterwards at my place. My Darling tagged along and was quite the help with our selfless which just became portraits instead. :D Also I got to take some cutesy photos with my darling and they came out quite lovely as well! Fall season is right around the corner but summer is still in full swing here in the South and it will be for at least another month and a half or so. The transition to your fall wardrobe may not be immediate if you live in a warmer climate. Here is my style tip for you southern belles and fashionistas.
In between seasonal color scheme changes, you can always bet on black and white. This Black & White Zara Halter dress was purchased at Plato's Closet Memorial City.
It is quite an iconic vintage inspired piece. It works well in the heat and looks great day or night. You can pair it with a pointed to pump like I did or a cutesy color pop flat, gladiator sandals, wedges or sky high stilettos.

In other news, Dan took me around some new locations for pictures! It was lovely. We went to Grand Lakes and they have gorgeous lighting during the magic hour. It's huge, so I will definitely be going back for my next set. I can't wait.
