Happy Labor Day everyone! Here is a DIY nail ART project for you nautical loving, red, white and blue, vintage wearing cutie pies out there.

I am officially like 1 month and 2 weeks late on posting about G-Fest! I've been soo busy. But I had such a blast on vacation in Chicago! It was such a fun eye opening experience that truly made me love Ultraman and Godzilla all the more. The weather was gorgeous out there and a breathe of fresh air compared to Texas' July stroke inflicting heat waves. Anyway we met Shinichi Wakasa who worked on so many kaiju films and really leaves a huge imprint on monster films. Tsutomu Kitayama, a suit actor who was small but quite fiesty in person. I even got to speak with him in Japanese which made me squee just a tiny bit. ^_^ We also met with Cleve Hall of the television shows Monster Men and Face Off. He was pretty laid back and really nice. He took a picture with Dan below. Here are some pictures.(We took way too many to share it all in one day!)

The past two weeks marked birthday season for me because most of the people I love have birthdays in and around my own in August, September & October with my own being on September 15th. My brother's birthday was the 23rd of August, friend Ethan's was on the 27th, and my Darling Dan's was on the 29th. We haven't completely celebrated his birthday yet but I asked my Lovely friend Taylor if she would make a cake for me. She makes customized cakes for almost any occasion. And since Dan loves Godzilla and Ultraman I had asked her to make this cake of Godzilla attacking a town chibi style! It came out so much more amazing than the picture I gave her as a reference. She did a fantastic job and it is sooooo delicious. If you would like her to make a cake for you, feel free to leave your contact information and request in the comments section of this post. We are working on getting her a nice website to get her started as she does great work. Happy Sunday!
